Mission Statement

Our mission, through God's power and being rooted in the Bible, is to transform people to live as followers of Jesus Christ in our community and beyond.

Vision Statement

Our vision is:

  • To understand the depth of God's Story in the Bible
  • To be a diverse congregation united by Christ as one body
  • To raise up the next generation (children, youth, and young families) and develop leaders among them
  • To grow as a church by reaching those who don't know Christ in our local community

Sunday Worship service

NOTE: all in-person services and meetings are currently suspended because of the COVID-19 outbreak. But you can worship with us online through a Zoom worship service each Sunday at 10:30 AM, listening to video sermons on this website, joining us for Zoom video prayer meetings on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, and staying updated by sending an email to contact@59thStreetLBC.org

When we begin meeting again in person, here's the info for our Sunday morning gatherings:

Join us each Sunday morning for dynamic teaching, engaging worship, and welcoming community:

English Service - Sundays @ 11:00AM (in Old Sanctuary during the school year and in basement during the summer)

Chinese Service - Sundays @ 11:00AM (in Brun Memorial sanctuary)

Children's Church (4 yrs - 5th grade) and nursery (0-4 yrs) during both services.
